Invisalign London FAQs

Is Invisalign treatment expensive?

Invisalign treatment is based on your specific smile needs, and prices can vary based on the likely duration of treatment and the extent of correction required.

At the Harley Street Smile Clinic, we strive to always offer fair and competitive pricing, and our Invisalign treatments usually start from around £2995.

To find out more about our prices, or for details about finance options, please visit our fees page or contact the team.

How long will I need to wear Invisalign braces for?

Every mouth is different, and how long you need to wear aligners for will depend on the complexity of your smile concerns. As a rough guide though, you can usually hope to start seeing positive changes in just a few weeks and many treatments are successfully completed in 6 months.

In terms of daily wear, you will need to wear your aligners for most of the day and night (at least 22 hours per day) to achieve optimum results.

To ensure long lasting effects, you will also be offered a custom-made retainer.

How do I know if Invisalign is right for me?

Invisalign can help with all manner of common smile concerns, such as:

  • Crooked teeth
  • Gaps in teeth
  • Overbite
  • Underbite
  • Crossbite
  • Crowded teeth

It is an ideal treatment for straightening teeth and correcting bite problems. However, whilst Invisalign can achieve great results, there are a range of alternative options that may offer more favourable outcomes for your individual case – which is why it’s important to always seek expert advice on the best treatment path for you.

Is it easy to look after Invisalign braces?

Yes! Invisalign are designed to be hassle-free.

Unlike traditional braces, there are no tricky wires or brackets to look after, just a simple clear aligner that is easy to pop in and out of your mouth to clean. This can be done by simply brushing and rinsing the aligners in lukewarm water or using special Invisalign cleaning crystals when a deeper clean is required.

Teeth should be cleaned as normal to maintain good oral hygiene. However, to both protect teeth and keep the aligner clean, we also recommend brushing teeth after mealtimes, before re-inserting.
