How much does cosmetic dentistry cost?

The cost of cosmetic dentistry depends on the treatment you require and varies from clinic to clinic.

Cosmetic dentistry is not a specialised field, so any dentist can call themselves an ‘expert’ regardless of experience. Therefore, it’s essential that you research your chosen dentist fully and don’t just go for the cheapest option.

At the Harley Street Smile Clinic, we have been providing cosmetic dental treatments for over 30 years. We offer everything from veneers and stain removal to gum sculpting and mini makeovers. And, whilst many famous faces make up our track record of happy customers, we endeavour to make our treatments accessible to everyone – offering competitive, fair and transparent pricing.

To maximise your value for money we provide a free imaging service where you can view the simulated results of your chosen treatment. You can also benefit from a free consultation with our Treatment Coordinator to chat about what we can do to improve your smile, the costs involved and finance options.

If you’re unsure which procedure is best for you or would like to discuss finance options in more detail, why not get in touch with the team? What does a full set of veneers cost?

Used to correct a multitude of dental imperfections, veneers make a sound investment if you are unhappy with your current smile. A full set of dental veneers is normally classed as 16-20 teeth and we currently have a number of fantastic offers available:

    • 16 veneers are £14320
    • 18 veneers are £16110

How much is a full mouth of veneers?

Although many of our patients opt for dental veneers on just the most visible teeth, we also have a number of clients who are looking to get a full set of veneers fitted. If you’re considering this as an option, then you will need to decide on what type of veneers to have, as this will have a direct impact on the amount you pay. For instance, we only work with the highest quality porcelain veneers as these can last for 15 years or more, look natural and offer durable results. As a result, clients can expect to pay more than they would for other veneer alternatives such as composite veneers which are of much lower quality, and don’t last anywhere near as long.

If you’re looking for a full mouth of veneers, get in touch with us today and we can provide a bespoke quote for you.

    Are veneers permanent?

One of the main reasons we work solely with porcelain veneers is that they can last for 15 years or more when properly taken care of. Compared to other veneer options this is a considerably longer period of time, however eventually the chances are you will need to have your veneers replaced.

Not considered a permanent cosmetic procedure, veneers require maintenance and upkeep in order to get the very most out of them. With regular check-ups and good hygiene your veneers could last decades before needing to be replaced.

What are the benefits of veneers?

There are so many benefits to investing in good quality veneers, not simply aesthetically, but also mentally. Many of our clients come to us lacking confidence in their appearance because of their teeth, and we have helped hundreds of them boost their self-esteem with this cosmetic dental procedure.

Alongside raised confidence, there are also a number of note-worthy aesthetic benefits, including:

    • A brighter smile
    • A more even or straight smile
    • A naturally white smile
    • Teeth that are smoother in appearance
    • Teeth that are all the same size and shape

If you’re looking to improve your smile using dental veneers, get in touch with us today and our experienced team will help you to take the first steps towards a new smile.

    Bronze Treatments

Mini Smile Makeover which includes Stain Blasting, Teeth Whitening & Tooth Contouring We have a new treatment here at the clinic called the mini smile makeover that is designed to suit most people’s budgets. From just £795 we can give your smile a dramatic overhaul. We are now in possession of the most exciting dental equipment which has the amazing ability to blast away the stains on your teeth. Whether you’re a serious coffee drinker or smoker, those types of stains can be shifted in seconds. If you are considering whitening your teeth then having this done first will enhance the results of the whitening from the very beginning. Usually whitening treatments are battling through stains first before they start bleaching your teeth whiter so the results aren’t always great. Combining the Stain Blaster with our powerful whitening treatments your teeth will be bright white in no time. To further enhance your smile, also included in the makeover is some subtle tooth reshaping. This is where we contour/file your teeth into slightly better shapes or lengths to make your smile look better and the great thing about this treatment is that you can have it carried out so quickly that you can even have it done in your lunch hour. The Mini Smile Makeover can be financed from £69 per month for 12 months, subject to status.

Gummy Smile Makeover This treatment is for where the gum line is uneven or lower than desired. We can sculpt the gum line quickly and painlessly to raise your gum line around some or all of your upper teeth up to a maximum of 2mm, to make your smile look more aesthetically pleasing. It is carried out under a local anaesthetic so you will be totally numb for the treatment so it won’t hurt at all. The cost of this treatment would be £795 if it is done on its own as a stand-alone treatment. When the gum is sculpted it means that up to 2mm of the tooth will be revealed. In most cases, it is ideal because it can make your teeth look a bit bigger. If on the other hand, you are concerned that this will mean that your teeth will look too long, we have another treatment where we can also contour the tips of your teeth to shorten them so that they will not look out of proportion. There is also an added benefit to this in that the tooth itself can be shaped to improve its appearance also. Tooth contouring is £495. Whitening your teeth to complement the end results is also an option to give you a brighter smile overall. This treatment is £495. However, if you choose to have all 3 treatments done it will from £995 altogether. If you would like to see what this treatment would look like please take a photo of your teeth like the example attached and I will be able to show you how you could expect the results to look on you. The Gummy Smile Makeover can be financed from £78 per month for 12 months, subject to status.

    Silver Treatments

Smile Makeovers using porcelain veneers & whitening. We use veneers to correct a number of concerns, whether your teeth are crooked, uneven, chipped, gapped, protruding canines or laterals or discoloured. The number of veneers you have will depend on the level of perfection you are looking for. Usually, we veneer the teeth from the centre outwards and do them in multiples of two so that you always have symmetry. An average treatment we do is 4-10 veneers on the front teeth and a whitening treatment on the rest so that your whole smile gets a lift without having to veneer every tooth. Treatment is completely painless and stress-free and carried out very quickly. Most treatments are carried out in 3 quick appointments over a 3 week period. The first appointment would be to take some impressions. These are sent to our laboratory in Italy for the ceramist to make a 3d model of your new smile. At this point, you can start whitening your teeth if you have also opted for that. The next appointment is where we shape your teeth in preparation for the veneers, and we use the model to create you some temporary veneers. You will then wear these for 2 weeks while the real porcelain veneers are being made. It is at this point you can see in advance what your new smile will be like, and you will have the opportunity to make changes to it before it is finalised in porcelain. That way you can guarantee that you like the end result. The final appointment involves removing the temporary veneers and having the final porcelain veneers fitted.

    Gold Treatments

Smile makeovers involving the full upper and lower teeth carry the added advantage of you being able to choose the perfect colour for your upper and lower teeth. Giving you the highest level of perfection – particularly if you want your teeth to be really white. However quite often a combination of 6-10 upper and lower veneers can work really well.

    • The Next Step

If you are interested in looking into any of the treatments further the next step is to either have a Free consultation with our treatment coordinator, where we can discuss different treatment options, prices, veneer costs and provide a computer imaging of the likely results of the veneer treatments.

Alternatively, we can book you straight in for a £75 consultation with the dentist. During this appointment, the dentist will confirm exactly what your treatment options are based on x-rays that need be taken and a detailed clinical examination of your teeth. If you wish to proceed further at that stage the dentist can take the initial impressions so you can proceed with treatment straight away. The appointment will take about an hour, and any necessary x-rays are included in the price, which is redeemable against treatment. You’ll then take away the before and after photo, and a treatment plan detailing your options and the exact costs involved.
